The BW men's and women's intercollegiate racquetball teams are the best in the country. Ohio Racquetball Association Hall of Fame Head Coach Tim Miller and his teams have proven it over and over. Once again this year, Miller and the Yellow Jackets captured USA Racquetball national titles.
A total of 38 Heidelberg University students are getting a jump start on the responsibilities of becoming alumni as members of the Student Alumni Association.

Each year, UA's Department of Student Life service office, serveAkron, organizes the Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program. More than ninety Zips volunteered during the week of Spring Break, March 21-25, 2016, with three diverse non-profit organizations in Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. In all, these volunteers dedicated 3,056 hours to making a difference.
Eighteen students spent the fall 2016 semester away from BW learning in another country. With help from the BW Study Abroad Center's Independent Study program, students created individualized immersion experiences in Austria, England, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Russia, Scotland, South Korea, Sweden and Switzerland.
Kent State continues strong university enrollment by welcoming a record-setting freshman class, in terms of size, diversity, and quality based on GPA. These academically motivated freshmen have an average GPA of 3.4 and an average ACT score of above 23.
Twenty Kent State University graduate students have been chosen to serve as Graduate Student Orientation teaching fellows for the 2016 fall semester graduate student orientation and throughout the 2016-2017 academic year. Chosen for their teaching, research and leadership experiences, the Graduate Student Orientation teaching fellows are committed to ensuring the success of the newly admitted graduate students of Kent State.
More than 500 students earned endowed scholarships at Baldwin Wallace University this fall. BW has a long history of endowed scholarship support from alumni, faculty, trustees and friends. More than 385 named scholarships provide over $3 million to help students attend, persist and graduate from BW. Endowed scholarships vary in their requirements with many specifying financial need, a course of study, involvement on campus or a commitment to excellence in a particular field.
Greek Leadership Awards recognize members for outstanding scholarship, leadership and civic responsibility.
Baldwin Wallace University three-time Division III All-American wrestler Jesse Gunter (Akron/ Coventry) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Division III Academic All-America At-Large second-team.
Baldwin Wallace University senior three-time Division III All-American wrestler Jesse Gunter (Akron/Coventry) have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 At-Large team. Gunter now qualifies for the CoSIDA Division III Academic All-America ballot.
